📝 Notes & Reflection
- Anthropic Course: Building with the Claude API - Temperature
- Learned how temperature controls the randomness and creativity of Claude’s responses by influencing token sampling probabilities during text generation.
- Understood how to choose temperature based on the task: low (0.0-0.3) for factual/coding tasks, medium (0.4–0.7) for summarization and problem-solving, and high (0.8–1.0) for brainstorming and creative writing.
- Implemented the temperature parameter in client.messages.create() and learned that higher temperature increases the probability of varied outputs but does not guarantee different responses.
